If you are tired of you username and want a new one or you just don't want to have a YouTube account anymore you can delete you current account by pressing on your name tab and click on your settings and click advanced, you will have an option to delete your account this will not delete your gmail, once done you can click on your name again and click your channel and select a new name or you can use your gmail as you would normal do

Do This FIRST!:
1. Click on your profile picture on the top right while at YouTube.
2. Click on "YouTube Settings."
3. Right at the first page, you'll notice an option that says "Temporarily disable Google + features".
